Keilor Thunder - U10’s Emerging Thunder 

 

Keilor Basketball Association is proud to announce our U10’s Emerging Thunder Academy.

 

Emerging Thunder is aimed to help guide U10 athletes wanting to participate in our VJBL program. 

It is catered towards established U10s Junior Domestic players, looking to make the jump to Representative basketball.

 

Please note, this isn’t a participation or beginners program - athletes will selected into the Emerging Thunder Academy through a Try-Out process. 

 

Emerging Thunder athletes will take part in Try-Outs similar to VJBL Rep Try-Outs with a similar selection criteria and process.

 

If selected, they will train once a week with experienced Junior & Senior coaches on Friday afternoons. 

 

Throughout the season each athlete will play in intra club and against rivals clubs in scrimmages.

 

Athletes will also take part in 3 club tournaments against other U10s teams at outer venues through the year - tournaments take place on long weekends.

 

TRY-OUT INFORMATION

 

Try-Outs for our Emerging Thunder Academy will cost $20 — this fee covers the cost of running the program (court hire & coaching) and also a Red & White reversible singlet. 

 

Sunday 10th September 

Boys 11am - 12:15pm

Girls 12:30pm - 1:45pm
